Read by 4th Parent Council
Parents and families have the power to change the conversation and future of our children's education.
It's time our children become the strong readers they deserve to be. The Read by 4th Parent Council is a volunteer group of parents and caregivers from neighborhoods across Philly who advise and are an essential part of the Read by 4th movement.
As a member of the Parent Council, you can:
Download and share this Read by 4th Parent Council flyer with families who may be interested in joining.
Offer insight and feedback to make sure family voices and experiences are heard.
Learn about literacy tips and resources and share them with other families in your neighborhood.
Connect with families like yours who are dealing with the same things, have similar questions, and fighting to protect our children’s right to read.
Since 2021, Read by 4th has paid Parent Council Liaisons, representatives from the Parent Council who regularly attend working group meetings.
